Welcome to my blog. Let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Mel. I have a beautiful daughter who keeps me on my toes. A wonderful husband who is my world. I do not know where I would be without him. I have amazing family and friends who support my dreams and ideas and encourage me every step of the way. I am truly blessed.
We have two cats who keep us thoroughly entertained. My daughter's favorite pastime is chasing them around our apartment. I'm not sure if they like it, but we sure do get a lot of laughs. During the nice weather we spend a lot of time at the local lake and do some hiking and biking. In the winter we just love to play in the snow. The more snow the better.
Life is busy raising an almost three year old. I spend my days with her and I work the night shift at a hotel . I love scrapbooking and paper crafting.
When my daughter turned one, I began planning her first birthday party. I did a lot of researching on the web, getting ideas and planning what I wanted to do. I came across so many blogs that had wonderfully beautiful birthday parties. The only problem was that they were way out of my price range. They were gorgeous. Out of this world, but nothing the average person could afford. Now that my daughter is approaching three, I want to throw her an out of this world party on a budget.
